My Meijer Trip: Saved 77%

IMAG1093[1]
I finally got around to making my Meijer run today. I bought milk at Aldi earlier this week and have purchased almost nothing else for two weeks as we use up some stockpile and prepare for vacation soon :)

I had a mini freak out moment when the signs were not on the shelf for the Unadvertised Slim Fast sale I found earlier this week, but a quick price check confirmed they were still over half off. And I was glad I checked my mPerks in store because the $2.00/2 bars mPerk was gone, but thankfully there was a $2.00 off bars when you buy shakes one in it’s place and it was easy to work a great deal.

The sales are over for many of these items, but if you want the latest deal (including the continuation of the Cascadian Farms deal, see the Meijer deals for 2/3-2/9/13)

Transaction #1 – with my mPerks:

Purchased:
(2) Cascadian Farms Granola (on price drop @ $2.50)
(5) Suave Professional w/Morracan Oil (@ $3.09)
(2) Slim Fast Bars (@ $2.50)
(2) Slim Fast Shakes 4pk (@ $2.50)

Saved:
-$5.00 instantly for buying $15 in Suave
-(5) $2.00/1 Suave Morracan Oil Peelies on bottles
-(2) $0.75/1 Cascadian Farms printable
-(1) $1.00/2 Cascadian Farms Granola mPerk
-(2) $1.00/1 Slim Fast printable
-(1) $2.00 off Slim Fast bars when you buy shakes mPerk

Total paid: $8.95
Saved: $34.30
% Saved: 79%

Transaction #2 – with my hubby’s mPerks:

Purchased:

(1) Slim Fast Shakes 4pk (@ $2.50)

-(1) $2.00 off Slim Fast bars when you buy shakes mPerk

Transaction #3 – with my friend’s mPerks:

If I haven’t said it enough just yet, let me say it again. NEW FAVORITE.

ibotta is an app for smart devices that allows you to do what are basically rebates in a matter of hours instead of 8-10 weeks. See how ibotta works.

It’s very simple to use. Sign up and install the app to your compatible device. Reports from readers say Android and iPhones, but also many tablets and iPads that have the same operating systems! Check your app store to see if it’s compatible.

Plus, with the low minimum cash out of $5.00 and the fact that it’s instant to Paypal, I’ve been rolling my ibotta rewards as fast as I earn them.

I made my first big ibotta trip to Meijer one day and was back the next day using the $9.00 I cashed out to buy more ibotta items on sale with coupons and cashed out again. And I’m sure you know what happened next. I went back the next day and did the same thing.

I have put out a total of $34.75 out of pocket total after using my rewards to pay for my purchases and earned a total off $37.50 after all the rolling.

Sign up for ibotta now!

Because of the sales last week we are stocked up on Eggos, Dove and Speed Stick for a while! There are lots of ibotta offers in the Meijer Deals this week and be sure to see the Walmart ibotta Matchup if you are heading that way… there’s a FREEBIE!
